Bicycle Film Festival
Since it's debut in 2001, the annual Bicycle Film Festival has brought together respected artists, musicians and film makers from 16 cities to celebrate the very best in bike culture.
In 2007 the BFF boasted nearly 100,000 attendees worldwide, highlighting how bike riding brings people together, whilst promoting cycling as an environmentally friendly form of transportation in a time of global crisis about ecological issues.
BFF films addresses all styles of bikes and biking. If you can name it - Tall Bike Jousting, Track Bikes, BMX, Alleycats, Critical Mass, Bike Polo, Cycling to Recumbents - the BFF has probably either ridden or screened it; celebrating these lifestyles through art, film, music and performance. The BFF brings many aspects of bicycling together to advocate its ability to transport us in many ways. Importantly, the ‘Fest is also about having a good time'.
